Up for sale is a used PRS Archon 50 MKI that has been professionally modified by Gaeta Amplification.

The lead channel preamp has been re-voiced to provide:

• Tighter, more controlled low end

• Smoother, less harsh high end

• Slightly increased gain over stock

• Improved note separation and articulation

• All preamp grids have been shielded for a lower noise floor

The amp also features two rear-mounted 3-way voicing switches, allowing you to tailor the gain channel’s response to your playing style. The result is an exceptionally versatile high-gain amplifier that sounds fantastic.

I enjoyed the results of this modification so much that I will now be offering this gain mod as a service for other PRS Archon amplifiers.

The power tubes have been professionally biased to approximately 60% plate dissipation for reliable operation and long tube life.

Condition:
I have owned this amplifier for over a year. Please note that it does not include the rear back panel. The amplifier will arrive exactly as shown in the listing photos.
