About Gaeta Amplification

Gaeta Amplification is built on a deep obsession with high-gain tone and the circuits behind it.

I’m a retired law enforcement officer who was shot in the line of duty in 2019, ultimately losing my right leg after more than 20 surgeries and a long recovery process. During that time, I leaned heavily on the music I grew up on—especially nu metal and early Linkin Park—and that connection turned into a relentless pursuit of guitar tone.

What started as curiosity quickly became an obsession. I began studying electronics, circuit design, and amplifier modification in depth, focusing on the rare, heavily modified amps used on the records that shaped my taste. I tracked them down, broke them apart conceptually, and learned what actually made them work.

From there, I took those ideas and refined them—tightening the low end, improving clarity, reducing noise, and modernizing the designs so they perform consistently in real-world use.

At some point, I realized I was more driven by building and shaping tone than playing itself.

Gaeta Amplification exists to bring those rare, highly defined high-gain sounds into a modern, reliable format—built for players who care about precision, feel, and articulation as much as raw aggression.
